Talks, TRX

I was invited to represent TRX at Taiwan’s first-ever Summit for Trainers to co-lead on the TRX coaching model and present on TRX Mobility.

Taiwan Summit

It was an absolute pleasure for me to return to Taiwan this October to represent TRX.

I have visited Taiwan several times before and am always made to feel welcome by the wonderful people, despite not being fluent at all in Mandarin!

Grant Twible and I ran through “Coach Better” on the TRX coaching model, and I led the TRX Mobility session which was the talk I gave at IDEA WORLD in Los Angeles in July.

The class for 60 people was sold out in two hours which was fantastic! It shows how inspirational the Taiwan TRX Instructors have been over the last decade and more importantly, how keen the Taiwanese fitness trainers are for TRX content and other personal training education.

Thanks Jay, Ken, Van, Gary, Megan, Hulk and Vicky!

Throughout the day all the participants were engaged in the workshops with hardly any sitting out on the sidelines.

I enjoyed giving my workshop on Overhead Squat Mobility and although teaching through a translator (Thanks, Gary!) interrupts flow and adds time, we got through the class efficiently and with the bonus of everybody reporting (through feel and by “before and after” squat photos) that they got better with either the mobility or muscle activation techniques we went through.

Thanks must go to Taiwan TRX distributor Sonam and his team for putting in a well-organised event.

Thanks also to Grant Twible, TRX rep for AsiaPac for inviting me to join this fantastic event.

I look forward to coming again next year!
