BEAR MOVEMENT- 5 ANIMAL MOBILITY PROGRAM

The Dancer pose assists balance, engages back extension and helps to lengthen the quads and hip flexors.

BEAR DAY

The Dancer is a pose that will be familiar to yoga practitioners as Natarajasana- “Lord of the Dance”.

It is part of the #BEAR #movement stability and balance sequence in my 5 ANIMAL MOBILITY program.

The Dancer is a BEND pattern– it activates the superficial back line and works in the opposite direction to the stretches in the Bear program.

If you would like to see the whole sequence and understand how it forms part of the greater whole, you can download my 5 Animal Mobility iPhone app and check out my new book ROAM- Movement As Medicine.
