BAREFOOT SERIES PART 2- SPRINT START, SINGLE CHEST PRESS, SUSPENDED RUNNER

Barefoot Running conditioning series Part 2- Sprint Start, Single Chest Press, Suspended Runner.

Ross Eathorne, Exercise & Lifestyle specialist, demonstrates the TRX Sprint Start exercise that conditions the toe off phase of running. This is the 4th exercise in a series that aims to build stability, coordination and strength in running, and especially for those transitioning to barefoot or Vibram Five Fingers shoes.

The Single Chest Press exercise enhances the “toe off” phase of your gait.

To wrap up this Part of the series, we have the Suspended Runner Swing Through. This exercise that trains hip/back disassociation, transverse abdominus and the double float phase of gait.
