I will be doing the Gobi March event, part of Racing The Planet’s 4 Deserts Race series. This follows on from the Sahara Race which I completed in 2009. I am doing this firstly to try to go faster that I did in the Sahara Race, and secondly to inspire others to get with a movement of their own and to work towards a goal.
The Gobi March takes place in the Gobi Desert, China, and I aim to race the equivalent of 6 marathons over 5 days- 250km in total- all fully self-supported, within a time of 38.25 hours. I will be using my TRX suspension trainer to get myself in shape and make my body a machine!
